Today I want to tell you about something new I’ve created to help you with your IBS. Taking Control of Your IBS: 14 days to becoming your best advocate is a FREE mini course designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to become your best advocate, so you can take control of your IBS.

Why you need to become your own IBS advocate | A Less Irritable Life

The fact is that only you can truly understand your IBS, so you need to become your own IBS advocate

There’s nothing worse than being diagnosed with an ongoing medical condition and feeling like there’s nothing you can do about it. And it’s even worse when the people around you, including health professionals, don’t seem to believe how much you’re suffering or know how to help you.

That’s why taking control of your IBS is so important… only you can truly understand what you’re going through. Because of that, you’re the only person who can effectively advocate to make sure you get the support and treatments that you need.

But how do you learn to do this and get the help that you need?

That’s what this 14-day mini course is all about. You’ll learn things such as:

  • How to create an empowering mindset so that you don’t let other people dismiss your needs.
  • What you can realistically expect to gain from IBS treatments.
  • How to know what answers you need and who to seek them from.
  • The best way to talk to your doctors and health professionals to get the answers you need and deserve.
  • The many types of things that can trigger IBS so that you know where to start making changes in your life.
  • The process of taking control of your IBS, why only you can do it and how to get started.

Why did I create this mini course?

I have IBS, so I know what it’s like to live with. When I was first diagnosed with IBS over 25 years ago, not a lot was known about the condition. My symptoms were dismissed by doctors as something that was all in my head. I knew that wasn’t true, but that’s what the medical community thought back then and I never got the help I needed.

But thankfully, our knowledge of IBS has changed since then and we now know that IBS isn’t something that’s all in your head. Unfortunately though, not everyone has got the message, so getting the help you need still isn’t as straight forward as it should be.

That’s why you need to have a good understanding of your IBS. It’s the only way that you can take control and get the support and treatments that you need.

I don’t want to see anyone suffer like I did, especially now that there are effective ways to manage IBS and get relief. That’s why I want you to have the skills that you need so that you can advocate on your own behalf. That’s why I’m running this free mini course so that you don’t have to suffer in silence.
